I make my annual trip down towards Houston for the 4th of July. Today I was on my way back and made my usual stop at Golden corral on university. I met the nicest server by the name of Rhonda two years ago and always sit where she is hostessing. She is such a sweet lady and a very hard worker and makes you feel so very welcome. She doesn't act like it is a job that she is just being paid to do and just going through the motions, but the job that she really enjoys doing from her heart. As a matter of fact I took a snapshot of us last year and when I walked in today I was going to ask the cashier if Rhonda still worked there and I looked up and Rhonda was about 10 ft from me. Nice to see that Golden Corral keeps their employees happy and that they continue to stay on.

Great 0lace for a variety of food. My favorite has always been the salad bar, pot roast and mashed potatoes. It has been around 8 years since I've eaten here. The salad bar is smaller now and the variety of vegetables are smaller. Their fried and baked chicken was good. Pot roast was good. Dessert table had some great choices to choose from. My biggest complaint is the temperature of the hot tables. The food was cold by the time you made back to your table. We got around 1130 and maybe someone didnt heat up the tables early enough. Im going to say the temperature for the food was 100 degrees. Health department would have shut the place down until the food was hot enough to kill the bacteria. My kids said when they go the food is hot. So hopefully this was just a one time deal.

I expected clean, mediocre food, and bad service. My expectations were wrong..and proved to be unfounded..I found the restaurant to be clean, the food was delicious..we didn't have the most attentive busser, but I watched her run, she was definitely giving her best effort...20 years later and still feels the same to me

This place was a a must try, for only 11 dollars for a full all you can eat buffet is absolutely and only ten for kids 9-12 and the service is really good but most of all the food was wonderful with so much variety and they also let us take the cotton candy with us and they also had a window view of chefs making meat. This is an absolute massive deal for 11 dollars for an all you can eat buffet. And the best is yet to come, THEY HAVE A ICE CREAM MACHINE!!!! It was such a delightful surprise. Please do come try this place.

I’ve already left a review from my other account, but me and my boyfriend usually love to come to this location. I was disappointed upon hearing that they will no longer be serving turkey. Their other of a few different items has also gone down in quality in our past few visits. The servers are always so kind and I love the atmosphere. However, when I’m going there to pay for food, I expect the food to be what is advertised, and *the online menu online still states that they serve turkey.* My boyfriend typically orders the fish, and that specifically has not been the best quality as of lately. Unfortunately, I left disappointed. I do hope that the menu returns to normal. We are repeat customers, but we may have to stop returning as frequently if these issues are not addressed. I would like to make it very clear that I do love golden corral, and it is one of my favorite places to dine. I have a lot of great memories there and that makes it all the more upsetting to see that they no longer serve one of the main items that I go there to get. I also find it ridiculous that they raised the prices, but then took items away. One of my favorite items to choose from is the chocolate ice cre
